My son was skiing in Jackson Wy. and need some help. He called me collect, a distance of 70 miles. He dialed using the call code 1-800 callATT. He recieved no information that thea call would not be placed through ATT. Instead shrenet communications placed thea call and charged $24.99 for five minutes. The charges also had added a UNIV SVC FND charage of $5.00 and additional federa Excise tax of .03%. This added up to over $6.00 per minute.
I have recieved no information from sharenet communications. The billing company statead that they can readuce the charages by 25%,
I belioeve they are dishonest in not posting charges or in giving notification that ATT or Sprint or any othaer systems will not be used on their phones.
