My wife is in the United States Army. We moved to McKinney, Texas six months ago. We leased a home from Sharon Devany, a realtor who works for Ultimate Relocation in McKinney, Texas. We put a $15,000 security deposit on a lease home. On May 20, 2009 the United States Army transfered my wife to South Carolina, forcing us to move. Sharon Devany, who works for Ultimate Relocation in McKinney, Texas is now refusing to return our $15,000 security deposit, although required to do so by federal law (The Servicemembers Civil Relief Act of 2003, also known as the SCRA) In addition, she is suing us for $166,950.00 for the remainder of the lease!
I pray Sharon Devany, and Ultimate Relocation will lose their license to sell/lease real estate. They are a disgrace to the real estate profession, a traitor to our soldiers who give their lives for freedom, and a disgraced to our country.
