My spring nightmare.

I don't even know where to start.  This company lied and misled me.  I had what I thought to be a nice young man come out and give me a quote.  He was well dressed and professional.  He promised me that his company (that he owned) would do a good job painting my house.  I took the bait.

Now it all goes wrong.  I get a call from someone I do not understand.  He insisted that he was coming out on a Tuesday at 9 AM to power wash and prep my home.  I preferred that he didn't...but again he insisted.  On Tuesday at 11 I still had not seen anyone.  So I decided to call the nice young man that supposedly owned the company -- Sharper Impressions Painting a call.  I get no answer.  I leave a voicemail.  I get no response.  I wait a day.  I get no answer.  I leave another voicemail.  I get no response.  Now I am pissed and VERY confused. 

Three days later I go to the store.  As I am pulling up to my home I see four hispanic men painting my house.  None of them speak a word of English.  None of them understand what is going on.  None of them can even tell me their name.  I have to believe that they were not citizens of the United States.  I also have to belive that they had no insurance since illegals can't be covered under workmans comp. THERE IS NO WAY THEY POWER WASHED MY HOME.  If they had it would still be wet.  I was only gone for an hour.  THERE IS NO WAY THAT THEY PROPERLY PREPPED MY HOME.  So now I know from my experience that these men did not do what I paid to have done.  I tell them to stop.  I want my house power washed and cleaned of dirt.  I also want my house scraped of loose paint.  I want my house properly primed where there is wood showing.  Last of all, I want the correct paint applied to my home.  They were using different CHEAP paint that waas not specked for the job.  Now I am REALLY pissed.

I try to call the "owner" of Sharper Impressions Painting again to figure out what is going on.  NO F-ING answer.  I leave a message to tell him that I am done.  I will NEVER do business with them again.  I decided to do a little bit of research.  I wish I had done research before this abortion.  It turns out that this is par for the course with Sharper Impressions.  Looking around the net made me feel a little better.  I was not the only one.

It turns out that the "nice" young man that sold me the paint job does not own the company.  He lied.  Jeff Sharp owns the company.  I finally received a call a week later.  I told him what he could do with his paint and illegals that showed up at my house.
