Shecky's- Jack Posniak Failed to pay for Miami Shecky's Event New York New York

In November of 2013 I was booked to work registration for an well known event company called Shecky's through a man named Jack Posniak, who is suppose to be the Manager, Client Partnerships of this company.This event company has events nationwide and its basically an event that targets the female consumer you can go receive gift bags, shop, sip on wine, check out new fashion and accesories etc. Its also known as Shecky's Girls Night Out. I was booked to work registration and confirm people were on a online guestlist with a laptop as well as checking ID's and handling writsbands for the dates of Thursday 11/21, 2013 3pm-11pm and Friday 11/22, 2013 3pm-11pm at $15/ pr hour at a location known as The Moore Building in the Design District, **** ** ***** ****(** **** & ** **** ***.) *****, *****.

After completion of this event I signed a timesheet and filled out the paperwork and Jack then stated I (as well as others working) would be payed with a check by mail. I have plenty of experience working events and this is custom some companies may take up to a month to pay. After a month and several non returned emails and run around phonecalls I till this day have not been compensated for my work days of this event. I worked with several other ladies but only exchanged information with one of them and she too has not been payed for this event. So it seems this is something custom Jack does. He hires a bunch of girls to work an event and just vanishes to never be heard from again. It is dispicable to say the least. Hopefully this report serves others to NEVER work for this person nor this event EVER.
