Recently, my daugther went with some friends to an art show and came home very excited that she met this lady there who wanted my daugther to join her Community Theatre for All Ages. The theme was " Kids Variety Show."
Her name was Miss Shelly. She had told my daugther to talk it over with me and my hisband but for us to call her back that night becasue she only had 3 spaces left and she really wanted my daugther to star in the show.
That evening I called her and left a message for her to call me back. She did about 2 hours later. We talked for about 45 mins about the show and that she would be donating all the money to Dell Childrens Hospital. She told me that the cost was $65.00 and that my daughter would have to sing a contract with her. She then said that my daugther would need to get sponsers of $100.00 or more later on to help fund the show. She also said that she was in between theathers to practies at and so if my daugther wanted to join that she would start next sunday.
She asked if we could meet tomorrow because she was going to be seeing another girl and signing her up as well. She asked if we could meet at Funddruckers at 290 and IH35 around 12:30. I told her yes. That her father and I would be there.
Well at 12:00 she calls and says that she was not going to be there until 1:00 and I told her that it would be fine. My husband and myself with our daughter showed up at 12:30 and we sat by the door and waited until 1:45 and we seen no one. We left and went home. I tried to cal her phone and there was no answer so I called left a message. She then calls me at 5:30 and says that she has been there since 1 and asked where were we. I told her that we were there and that we seen noone and that we are now at home.
She said that her daugther was there waiting to meet my daughter and wanted to know if we could go back and I told her that I was not at home right now and that I would get home and talk with my husband. She then proceed to say that she had bought my daugther her costume and that she wanted us to meet so that she could get the money since she had already gotten the costume. I then said that I would be home soon and would talk to my husband.
I got home and talked it over with my husband and we both agreed that something is not right. So I did a reverse number and there was reports of other people who have gotten scamed by her before.
While doing some investagating I now know that she is either staying at the Studio motel behind the fuddrickers on 290 and IH35 or she works there. Either way she is therenow. If you think that you are bring scammed by her please be aware that all she is going to get more money out of you..

Someone should file charges

Someone needs to file charges and the state should prosecute her for theft by fraud. There are enough cases combined you could put her away for years. Her daughter will probably follow in her foot steps since it appears she defends her in the many complaints filed with rebuttals. I would guess the rebuttals from alleged friends are actually Shelly Williams.

EITHER THIS LADY IS EMOTIONALLY FRAGILE AND HAS AN INCREDIBLY BAD MEMORY (but,wait, how can you have a bad memory if you are in theatre and have to memorize lines!)OR SHE IS CONNING PEOPLE TO SURVIVE.
MAYBE SHE IS MARKING TIME, DOING WHAT SHE CAN TO SURVIVE UNTIL SHE GETS THAT BIG BREAK IN FILMS OR THEATRE OR GETS OFFERED A STARRING ROLE IN SOMETHING... YEAH, SURE, LIKE THAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN TOMORROW...A STARVING ARTIST SUFFERING FOR THE SAKE OF HER ART, A TREMENDOUS UNDISCOVERED TALENT WHO IS ON THE VERGE OF SUPERSTARDOM...BUT IN THE MEANTIME, CANNOT WORK A JOB OR WILL NOT WORK A JOB SO SHE CAN GO TO AUDITIONS OR SO THE DRUDGERY OF WORK WILL NOT AFFECT HER WORK AND DRAG HER DOWN TO THE LEVEL OF PEASANTS BECAUSE SHE IS A STAR, A REAL SUPERSTAR, NOT ORDINARY PEOPLE WHO HAVE TO MAKE A LIVING...SHADES OF NORMA DESMOND... OR NOT SO SWEET BABY JANE!
EVEN WORSE, HER DAUGHTER --IF THAT IS REALLY HER DAUGHTER WRITING IN HER DEFENSE--HAS TO PICK UP THE PIECES AND APOLOGIZE FOR THE DAMAGE THAT MOM DOES...
IT'S LIKE THE DAUGHTER IS HER ONLY ANCHOR TO REALITY.
I DON'T FIND VERY MANY GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS LADY. I DON'T RECALL EVER HEARING ABOUT OR SEEING ANY OF HER "SHOWS" PUBLICIZED HERE IN THE AUSTIN AREA. AND I KEEP MY EARS OPEN TO ANY THEATRE AND FILM NEWS...
I CAN'T SAY I HAVE HEARD ABOUT HER EXCEPT WHAT I READ ON THE RIP OFF REPORT.
I HOPE I AM WRONG. FOR THE SAKE OF HER DAUGHTER.
FROM ALL OF THE THINGS WRITTEN ABOUT HER IN THE RIP OFF REPORT,SHE REMINDS ME OF A COMPOSITE OF THE KING AND THE DUKE IN THE CHILDREN'S BOOK "HUCKLEBERRY FINN" -- TWO TRAVELING THESPAINS WHO MOVED AROUND A LOT TOO FOR MUCH THE SAME REASONS, APPARENTLY.

I am Miss Shelly's daughter.
She HAD been waiting at Fuddrucker's that long but, as it turned out, you guys accidentally went to the wrong one.
Ok so you guys met to sign up for a class and then decided not to. How did she rip you off?
My mom actually drove from Bastrop, to Smithville to pick a kid up that was in one of her shows because his mom didn't have a car, drove back into Austin because it was a convenient location for everyone but us, then drove him back home to Smithville after rehearsal because she didn't think it was right that he shouldn't have an opportunity to do her show.
And this kind of crap posted on the internet RUINS PEOPLE'S LIVES!!!!!
