Very disapointed in the quality of Shimano "Sedona" fishing reels. This is the second Shimano Sedona 2500FD reel this year I have had to send in for repairs. Purchased both reels new last year from Bass Pro. Used one time and clutch failed. They charge you shipping and a fee to repair their piece of crap reels.
This time they sent me a substitute reel - a Sedona 2500FE. Nice gester, but the anti reverse does not work on this one.
What a bunch of Bozos - where is their quality contro? DO NOT BUY SHIMANO!!

Why should THEY pay to ship AND fix something that YOU probably broke yourself? Face REALITY!! YOU show ZERO evidence of failure on THIER part. ZERO documented proof that the reel did indeed fail DURING use. SO as far as they are concernd YOU broke your toy!!! YOU are NOT trustworthy enough to have YOUR WORD taken as the TRUTH!!! I know its a smack in the face that YOU posting ONLINE and someone doesnt believe you, but THAT is the world we live in. THEY do NOT know YOU from anyone else and the consumer has proven time and time again that THEY WILL LIE TO GET THIER WAY!!! That the consumer has ZERO issue with screwing businesses over in order to get what they want. The consumer will say anything, besmirch ANYONE even if its thier own fault to get thier way. So YOU having to pay for YOUR TOY to be fixed is just THEM being fair across the board. EVERYONE has to pay unless they can PROVE that its a manufacturer defect. And guess what, people like YOU NEVER PROVIDE PROOF!!!! SO with the LACK of ANY proof, YOU turn it around on them. Shimano is an EXCELLENT brand for reels, sometimes the clutch sticks or breaks but THAT is always due to the person CASTING!!! I personally will continue to purchase Shimano as I feel thier brand is far and above some of the other brands out there. Either PROVE thier product failed or stay off the web because what YOU are doing is WRONG!!
