I worked for this company - you should know this.

The reviews posted on line are fake.  They change the IP address and totally bypass the security on www.transportreviews.com in an effort to look like the biggest company out there.   They are not.

If they flood the site with positive reviews they can hide the negative reviews deep in the archives on that site.  It's unfortunate that www.transportreviews.com doesn't monitor this better.

Secondly... they don't screen the truckers.  They may check to see if the trucker has insurance... but they don't screen or pre-screen the carriers.  More than half the trucks are not checked at all.

Their company name is not even listed on Central Dispatch.  They hide under slightly different corporate names.  This would keep them from being liable for anything.

Compensated reviews?  Can you trust them?  Should you trust them?  NO - definitely not.  If you have to pay someone to say something nice about you... Really?   Just food for thought.

Be careful working for this company.  They rotate new sales people in with no experience on a weekly basis.  No experience necessary.  It's a boiler room.  Sink or swim.  They put $100 bill on the wall and say the person with the most orders today gets the cash.  Sales people will say anything to make a sale.  In this economy... this is a bad way to to business.   The sales people that won't lie to customers quickly lose their seats to those who will lie.

The management has no moral compass.  Thank you for reading this information.  Buyer beware.

Who do you really work for?

I have worked for Ship A Car Direct for about a year and I can tell you that this is total NONSENSE. First of all, there is no way to do what he is saying - changing IP addresses.  We are an honest company who is very transparent.  The reviews we have - we have EARNED them.  Nothing is more important to us than customer service.  But then haters will always hate.

First of all - we do not work in the same office - ANY of us. We all work out of home offices. We are not rotated in on a weekly basis. Everyone who works in sales has been here a year or more.  We go through an intense 2 weeks of TRAINING before we start.  And all of us have some sort of sales experience.  This person is so full of baloney!!!!

Not an ounce of truth - this was posted by a competitor

First and foremost - my apologies that you have to read such utter nonsense folks.

The person who wrote this report has never worked for me and clearly know nothing about my company, but does appear to know enough about the industry to indicate that it's clearly written by a competitor.

Welcome to the world of sleazeball sales tactics everybody. I wish I could say that they didn't exist in auto transport, but I'd be wrong.

Rather than improve their own customer service, some companies would rather turn to tactics like this. Because, {gasp} we couldn't possibly be a nice as the reviews say we are, could we?

They also know that Ripoff report has some *serious* SEO experts on their side, so they know a report like this will show up when you search for us by name, also a clear indicator that it's another transport company.

They should be brave enough to attach their name - that way we could have our lawyers sort it out. ;-)

But, since they've given me a free platform, I'll take the 'no such thing as bad press' approach and laugh a little at these ridiculous allegations, while pointing out what makes us better than evryone else.

A little secret about me - folks, I couldn't change an IP address if my life depended on it. I have enough trouble even programming an alarm clock properly and find it hard to believe that such a thing as changing IP addresses is even possible.

Transportreviews.com also has security measures in place to prevent fraud, although I'm sure the writer of this report has been spending countless hours trying to outwit them.

The fact of the matter is - every single review about my company on that site (or any other) is 100% true and from an actual customer.

But don't just take my word for it - ask them. Transport Reviews has a feature where the reviewer can choose to allow others to contact them. So - pick a random review and contact that person.

You could even play a little game with my staff - pick a review and take the order number given for that review only and give it to the person here that you're talking to; then ask them for basic details like the customers name or where the move was to and from. They'll have it.

And it's not because it's some elaborate hoax. Because, seriously, if we were 'tricking' people into beleving that we give great customer service, but we were just a bunch of no good crooks when you called, how long would that hoax really last?

And, hiding?! Yes, our name has eveolved over the years, but we've made great effort to let the world know that we are the same folks. Why would we hide from having such a great reputation?

Avoid liability?! Folks, we are the ONLY company that pays out of OUR OWN pocket any time a negligent carrier tries to skip out on a damage claim.

And that's not boasting - NO ONE ELSE does anything even remotely close.

It costs us thousand of dollars each year, but helps us greatly refine our list of carriers and constantly improve our service.

But - my favorite part of this whole report is the 'taping $100 bills to the wall' part.

Is that out of a movie or something? Like 'Wolf of Wall Street'? I have two small kids, so the last movie i saw in a theater was "Frozen" (which was very good BTW)

I would have gone a little further with the tyrranical image - how about an image of me rolling $100 bills in peanut butter, then tying them to the end of a fishing pole while i sit at my desk smoking a cigar and casting it about the room to make salepeople jump at it?

News flash - not only do my salespeople make good money, receive monthly and yearly bonuses and have access to benefits like employer matching retirement accounts, but they all get to work from HOME OFFICES. (but don't just take my word on that either - ask them)

In order for me to tape a $100 on the wall each day it would mean flying on a daily basis between various locations in Los Angeles, Denver and New York.

Needless to say, I'd be one tired boy, but the frequent flyer miles would allow me to take a vacation to get my mind off psychopaths from other companies writing lies about us on sites like rip off report.

So, have a chuckle with my staff about this report when you call and if anyone out there still thinks there is an ounce of truth in any of these allegations, you may reach me directly at 818-284-6640.
