Shipwright Harbor Was A Costly Mistake and the lies and bull
just kept coming. If they didnt rip everyone off they wouldnt have so many
empty slips.

 From the first day I put my boat on dry dock all I heard was when is my boat going into a slip. My props were bent and some damage was done to the bottom of the boat late in the season last year. When I pulled the boat out, the Shipwright employee Robert, asked me if the person driving the boat was stupid or just couldn't read a chart. If you are sailing and far from home dont pull in hear for a repair that only takes a couple days. They do not allow you to stay on your boat while you make any repairs and the few hotels are not close and there are no taxi services. They had to move my boat on dry dock so they could get to another boat and tried to charge me $100.

I had a longtime friend who is an engineer help me for free with some boat repair. Georgina said he should have a certificate of insurance and they would rather do the repairs.

They will over charge you for your slip. Several people at the marina told me about Shipwright over charging them. My boat is a 32 foot carver. They told me that my boat would not fit in a 32 foot slip and I needed a bigger slip that cost almost $500.00 more. As I walked the docks I saw my exact boat in a 32 foot slip and then I saw another boat the same size as mine in a 32 foot slip. Then I talked with a slip holder who was charged for a larger slip than he needed for two years. He finally told them he rather sink his boat before they get over on him again and he was leaving. Then they agreed to let him in the proper slip.

Now I know why there are so many empty slips at Shipwright
