We purchased a puppy from Shirley through her website. She didn't want to give out any information about where to pick up the puppy, which I found odd. She talked about taking her 3 puppies to The Hanna Society but if I wanted the female she'd rather have me buy her. I was confused with her emails that never made any sense but we wanted the puppy. She told me that she worked Monday through Friday at all hours and couldn't tell me where or when I could pick up the dog. She kept putting me off with not feeling well and overworked - very strange behavior.

I finally pinned her down to an actual pick up time at her home. Then she sent me an email asking if I could pick up the dog in Vancouver WA - her sisters house with no real reason of why the change. I agreed to Vancouver, got the address and ready to go. She contacted me again saying she'd meet us at The Hanna Society in Portland, OR. We ended up getting the puppy from her in the middle of a mall parking lot. She said she forgot the papers but would send them to us as soon as she got home. I've been calling her but she will not answer her phone. I think that maybe I got the dog at all was a miracle. Maybe a puppy mill?
