The teenager working at the store was on the phone from the time I walked in until the time I checked out (she did put the phone down to process the transaction). However, she did bag the wrong shoes. I did not discover this until I had tried to piece together an outfit with the shoes. I returned 20 minutes later (this I know because the manager she called on the phone seemed to find this factor very important), to inform her that I wanted to return the shoes. I was quickly informed that they don't allow returns and that it was stated on my receipt. The catch, she didn't tell me this before I purchased the shoes, nor is it stated anywhere in the store.

She also put the receipt in the bag and did not hand it to me. However, this part is of little importance since once the transaction takes place it is too late to decide if not being able to return a shoe is important or not. I know many people who purchase shoes and then the outfit, so sometimes the shoes...or the outfit, has to be returned when they don't work together. So a policy of no returns... not really great for the consumer! I can understand if I had worn the shoes, but they were of a size that would not fit someone that is 5'10"!

The manager didn't care either. The manager told the girl working to tell me to leave or mall security would be called...I had stated I wouldn't leave until I was refunded my money, but in no way caused a scene or acted inappropriately. Mall security did show and told me I had to leave witout even asking me what was taking place. As a consumer I felt as if I had no options or rights to protect me and I was embarassed that mall security was asking me to leave! To make matters worse the clerk and the security person laughed at me. It is silly, but it is about the principal of the situation not about the price of the shoe.

NEVER NEVER NEVER go to this store. Not based on the cute shoes, because they are cute, but based on the POOR POOR POOR service and total lack of regard for what could have been a customer for a long time (I like shoes)!
