In my opinion I was a victim of “bait and switch” by shoplet.com .    Shoplet COM

Order# 16568484 and PO# (even though I used PayPal) 1517950169.  I just today posted a review after many tries.  Hours later I find the review was not posted and the listing has changed in price.  A way to dodge poor reviews???  Now it is a couple of bucks more.  I bought this is as a “one time buy” as they enticed you for $5.45 and shipping for a total of $15.30 via PayPal transaction #13Y87258T1415940B.  As of 4:50 Sunday 2-18-2018 the listing has changed very little but from what I can see only in price.  Still states that the described welding filter that requires 2 batteries INCLUDES a bracket.  This “included” bracket is ultimately only what you receive from them in the mail.  You can read the latest listing at shoplet.com/Jackson-Safety-Brand-Jackson-Safety-W50-BOSS-3-N-1-Variable-Auto-Darkening-Filters-20757/SEPTLS13820757/spdv .  I did cut and paste the old listing into an email to myself just in case the listing was changed!  I can send this to you if needed!  I did find a link that listed the Boss filter just as I originally say in 10 days ago for $5.45.

I first called last Friday.  The call ended at about 3:42 after the shoplet.com rep stated that someone would get in touch with me.  Heck, we all make mistakes so I told him fine and I would hear from him early next week.  No such luck so I emailed them, no answer, so I called last Thursday Feb 15th.  After a LONG time on hold I got a rep.  She offered a refund but I stated I wanted the Boss auto darkening filter that requires 2 batteries as listed.  Also let her know the listing was still unchanged and was misleading.   I stated that this was what was known in the automotive industry as BAIT and SWITCH.  She again offered a refund.  I said OK but… if the listing was unchanged after now 6 days I would not want a refund but the Boss auto darkening filter as listed.  Sure enough, I checked their web site immediately after hanging up and the listing was unchanged!  So… I called back up and got the same rep.  Told her the listing was unchanged and that I wanted the Boss auto darkening welding helmet filter as listed.  She eventually just hung up on me.

What I received was the “included” item which was just a black plastic square retainer that secures the listed auto darkening welding filter into the helmet.  Clearly in my opinion a deceiving listing.  IF… it was a mistaken listing it would have been fixed within hours of my first contacting shoplet.com via phone on Friday Feb 9, 2018 and not still be in my opinion a purposefully misleading deceptive listing as it currently is 10 days later. 

In closing to compensate me for my time and aggravation I want shoplet.com to send me a Boss auto darkening filter that requires 2 batteries as listed!
