ShopNBC cancelled order Brooklyn Center Maine

On January 2nd 2008, I ordered a watch from shopnbc- was told to expect delivery by Jan 23rd. I paid with credit card. Charges were applied to my credit card on Jan. 2nd.

Ater this I was bombarded with advertising emails everyday, from shopnbc- I finally wrote to customer service and asked them to please quit sending me all of these ads. My watch did not arrive by Jan 23rd, and I emailed them, asking WHEN it would get here. Got an email stating that my order had been cancelled- that my credit card had been declined when they submitted it prior to shipping. They also said they no longer HAD the watch that I had ordered.

Upon checking with my credit card company- I found that the charges HAD been placed on my card on the 2nd of January- and shopnbc had CANCELLED the charges on January 12th !! Apparently- they sell items they no longer HAVE and then tell the customer that their credit card was declined !! I have NEVER had a credit card declined in my life !!

So after waiting 22 days to recieve my watch- I received NOTHING- Just a complete waste of time !! And I'm angry that they lied about my credit card being 'declined' , using THAT for an excuse !
