Shoppers Discount An US Search Ripoff, but waiting for my money back! Internet Connecticut

Its amazing how you can get ripoff so fast. Its amazing to see how some companies get hold of our card number and start to drop money out of our bank account.
my husband and I went to the US Search website and ask for a one time phone number search. well, unfortunally, when you click at their web page they link you to some other one (Shoppers Discount) that asks you for a email account (so, they dont have the access of your card number (thats what we think) and one month later you look at your bank summary and you'll see that you are now a new member of this discount club, or whatever they are.

So, US Search combined their web site to some others that (without you knowing) charge you later on for a membership. how great is that? how many consummers have no idea of what is happing out there? some one need to stop them!

Yes, i did call them and they said: well, make sure you dont click the link when it comes pop us asking for your email next time! WHAT??? i was buying a service from US Search and of course i needed to give my email, but i didnt give them (Shoppers Discount) my card number.
and, justo one more thing: i never ask for a membership at US Search either!

they make you click for one time service but, unfortunally you have to call there and cancel a membership that you didnt ask for! otherwise, yes, they will be charging you every month.
its U$10,00 every time for each company a month!

so, i just hope everybody out there can make their way out withou being ripoff by those kind of companies.
in my call to the services companies today they said they will cancel the membership in 3 - 5 businnes day and credit the money to our bank account.
so, lets wait and hope.

is there any federal commision that we could report this kind of businnes in the State of NJ? Hope so.
