Shopping Essence Charged my credit card for $19.95, I never signed up or authorized this (thru Classmates) Norwich Connecticut

I signed up for "Classmates.Com" and not only did $59 appear on my credit card but also $19.95 from someone I never heard of (Shopping Essence)! Luckily their phone number 1-888-999-0564 was also on my card since my card was used over the internet.

Upon calling "Phil" told me that "Classmates" had sent my 'registration' to them because I 'signed up' when I joined 'Classmates'. I emphatically told him I did no such thing and want the charge removed at once! He agreed, but after a week my card shows no credit from them.

Folks..be careful when you join "Classmates.com" or anything on line anymore! You have to read every single letter of any document to make sure that somewhere hidden you are unknowingly authorizing someone to charge your card!

I contacted "classmates" and deny any responsibility even though it was them who gave away my card number
