Shopping Essentials / Restaurant.com Unauthorized charges by Shopping Essentials said to start from restaurant.com Internet

You can add me to list of multiple reports regarding the monthly $14.95 charges from Shopping Essentials. I noticed it last month on the bank statement, but my husband didn't think much of it and said it was probably a stop he made while driving through Connecticut. Sometimes private Gas Stations do come up with odd names.

So, I noticed it hit the account again today. This time under a slightly different name. I don't know if this is part of their scam.

When I called them, they stated that when I ordered a Restaurant.com certificate, I must have clicked and authorized it. And, when I spent the $10 certificate it activated that 30 trial, at which I would start getting charged the monthly fee of $14.95 if I didn't cancel. Well, I didn't cancel, I didn't know I signed up.

Accoording to them, I would have had to spend a $10 Certicate in January. I KNOW I didn't buy a certificate or use a certificate in January.

They said they would refund the last 3 months of charges. We'll see. I, also, informed my bank.
