Siebert Realty bed bug, not helpful, bad service, dirty Virginia Beach Virginia

Warning, this review is is about bed bugs; not for the faint of heart.

My family and I went through Siebert Realty to rent the Cabana Day Dreamin' property at
3620 Sandpiper Road over Thanksgiving 2016.

When we first arrived at the house, there was an exterminator present, but we did not think much about it at the time. Then, on the second night there, we discovered a BED BUG crawling on the sheets. Upon further inspection, we discovered bugs both alive and dead throughout the house (this is a 13 bedroom property, so there were lots of bugs in lots of rooms). We also found bed bug traps and bug resistant covers on some of the mattresses. The number of dead bugs, the exterminator, and the bed bug traps led us to conclude that the owner knew about the problem and failed to inform us of the issue. Needless to say, this experience ruined our week as we attempted to take measures to avoid bringing the bugs home with us.

When we returned the keys to Siebert, we showed them a bag containing some of the bugs. They admitted that they were in fact bed bugs. However, both Siebert and the owner of the property have refused to give us either a refund or any form of compensation. In fact, they accused us of bringing the bugs with us (which must have been a joke...right?).

If you are planning on going to Virginia Beach, check out the other rental companies in the area and save yourself the headache we faced with these bed bugs.
