Sierra Investment Group, Inc. of Carson City Nevada is a classic example of the "silver-tongued" con artist.

They contact you, smooth talk you into believing that the "charitable service" your company is doing would allow you to receive a grant (or more than one). They ask what you could do if you received grant money. Things like expanding your business or purchasing property.

After the initial call they claim no money up front to qualify you with grant donors to see which ones are likely to offer you a grant.
Within 24 hours they are calling you back telling you how many companies out there are interested.
For me it was 16.

After they bait you with the number of companies interested, they tell you a price to set up a "five year plan" that is needed in order to send your grant request to these "interested" companies. The up front amount is based on the number of "interested" companies. In my case the cost to set all this up was $7900.

The next thin you get is your "5 year plan" in the mail. What a joke! It looks like my eighth grade granson made it up. Basically there is a lot of "crap" about where your business is (about the city), how long you'be been there, etc. All of which any 12 year old could find on line.

I've always been skeptical of any "free money" offers. I even went on the internet to see if there was any bad reports on this company. I must have been in the wrong spot to look for "bad" because all I saw was "good".

I've called several times and been promised the "sun & moon" because of the work I do with high school kids. Trust me It's all Bull Sh  _ T! The last time I called they had just moved to a new location, but the lady answering the phone said she didn't know the address, just how to get there.

Bottom line, don't be a "SMUCK" like me. Keep your money and remember there is never anyone wanting to help you for nothing.
