Sierra Rarities-Kelly Baker scam people in gold - platinum investments Las Vegas Nevada
*Consumer Comment: Unable to find Sierra Rarities/Kelly Baker
*Consumer Comment: Sierra Rarities
In 2005 I invested in gold with Sierra Rarities, with the company strategy of buy gold and with their formula of trading back and forth with platinum.
Promises of large returns. Since mid 2008 I have been trying to cash in and could never succeed in someone answering my phone calls or e-mails. I have tried several times to no avail.
Now the website is not up, or phone numbers valid, or e-mail valid.

I am also a victim of this entity and have been unable to contact Sierra Rarities or Kelly Baker for months. All telephone numbers/email addresses etc have been canceled. I was told that the gold coin/platinum was kept in a vault and insured! If anyone has any further information/or can suggest a course of action to be taken please respond to this report.
Thanks.

I also invested in Sierra Rarities.... I read your complaint and I feel for you Joe (AZ). I attend a church in which there are many in your situation. Retiree's, trusted church funds, and christian families that trusted Baker - via our trust in our ministers and friends who referred us. Ministers that aren't properly trained should not deal in SEC securities since they have no knowledge of the risks and proper disclosure.
Kelly Baker refused to disclose any managerial fees, etc. when I asked him. In my opinion, our investment ended up in his personal bank account and was never invested in gold.
Kelly Baker gave me the same song and dance that he gave you over a period of 18 months. Two bounced checks, many false promises and outright lies. I had to hire an attorney to get my investment returned.
I pray that the SEC finds him (he is on the lamb) and restores your wealth and many fellow Christian's retirement funds. I urge all Sierra Rarities investors to fully cooperate with the SEC. If we don't this will further allow others like Mr. Baker to continue to victimize.
God Bless you and your family Joe and all others.
