Sierra Solutions Took the product back, but won't refund my money. South Lake Tahoe CA California

A Sierra Solutions door-to-door salesman showed-up at my house and oversold Clean & Simple as the ideal cleaner for my expansive hardwood deck, causing me to purchase 6 cases of cleaner. After learning otherwise, and at Heather's (customer service) direction, I returned 5 of the 6 cases (I wanted to keep one for other uses) to the company. As of today, it's been nearly one month and I have yet to receive my refund for the 5 returned cases of product.

Email and voice messages are not effective communication methods with Heather. In the couple of times I was able to reach her by phone, she would say, "I've been busy and haven't been able to retrieve messages, or clear my inbox."  In our last conversation (3 days ago) I asked Heather why I haven't received my refund, to which she cavalierly replied "Yeah, I still need to cut that check, don't I?" as if it were no big deal. She made the excuse the owner was out of town, to which I asked, "Are you telling me the owner is the only one with check writing authorization?" Heather replied, "I don't feel I need to explain our company's operations with you." 

Finally, I told Heather that Sierra Solutions is a prime example of why door-to-door sales companies get a bad rap and why people are dubious of doing business with any of them. I told her she is in violation of consumer law and if I didn't receive my refund by Friday (today) I would exercise my full consumer rights to protect myself. She said, "I understand." I even sent a follow-up email memorializing our conversation. I've received nothing.

As a former door-to-door salesman, I have a soft spot in my heart for guys and gals who make a living knocking doors. But, I have a big issue with companies and their people who do not conduct themselves with honesty and integrity. I am due $600 and will continue to bang on their door until I get it.
