If you are of the inclination to spend 5-7000 dollars cash for vitamins and Powder protien shakes feel free to go to this hacks seminar.
He is not a doctor. He is a chiropracter. After attending his catered "seminar" my brother convinced me to take my wife. Its a very hard sale. The doctor employs women with obvious cosmetic enhancments but no medical knowledge what so ever.
Though claiming to be an office specializing in "Functional Medacine"what it really entails is paying 3000-7000 down to get some tests done, have him tell you to go off all your prescriptions and fire your doctor.
Oh, and buy supplements that he produces himself. Supplements that are at least 50-100 a piece and you must buy at least 5 at a time.
There probably is some good he can do but the fact remains you will be out alot of money for Alternative care and to take Viatamins . We were quoted $5500 for my wife and he tried convincing this guy that he needed to stop eating bread. Not happening.
No Insurance. Overheard as the wife and I left the office was a rather skimpily dressed lady canceling a patients appointment so more new patients could be seen, and I am guessing ripped off.

The great thing about being a consumer is you can choose to buy an offered service or simply walk away. It is a shame that this rip-off report was ever posted. Rather than tell you how misleading the report is at every level, I will simply report my results as a paying customer:
I started with Dr. Nelson 60 days ago today, and in those 60 days, here are my initial results:
1. I have lost 20 pounds.
2. I have stopped drinking alcohol, and I drank a fair share each week.
3. I have been able to reduce my prescribed anti-depressant by one third with my primary care physicians approval. I have been on for more than 10 years.
4. I have reduced the need for prescribed sleeping medication.
5. I now use my Cpap machine every day to help overcome my sleep apnea, and have discussed with my sleep doctor about having a new test once I lose another 20 pounds to be able to reduce the need for the devise.
6. I have discontinued the use of my blood pressure medication. In 60 days, Dr. Nelson's supplements took my blood presure down into the normal range removing the 20 MG of Lisinopril I have been dependant on for almost 20 years also with my primary care physicians approval.
7. I have changed my diet and my body fat ratio is going down. My muscle mass is going up.
8. I have more energy today, after just 60 days, than I have had for at least 6 years.
9. A friend I have not seen in some time immediately asked me if I had lost weight.
10. And more...
Do I miss bread. Yes I do. Do I miss a drink or three every night, yes I do.
Do I miss feeling sluggish and struggling with memory problems every day, no I do not.
Believe what you want; however, I know that our greatest achievements are accomplished when we dare to look beyond what we believe to be true and push our self imposed belief systems.
If you are ready to change your life style and get back in control, then attend one of Dr. Nelson's dinner events and learn if this is right for you.

P.S. My 74 year old mom started 30 days before me, and she has lost over 34 lbs and is no longer pre-diabetic. I have no idea how Sierra Tahoe Wellness would work for you, but, we know what it is doing for the Fisher family!
