Here's the skinny on this one - I speak from experience
They say the training is "easy to follow" - LIE!
The deal is, the classroom, part of the school, lasts two weeks in Florida. That means you have to take time off of your job to go there. They will not come to you. And they should for the start up cost!
They say they will help you set up all of the equipment - That is a complete lie! They did not help us at all. We tried and tried to figure it all out.
No help on advertising either
As for the support, they say they will train your employees at no extra cost, that is not true. They left it to me to fully train themEVEN THOUGH I HAD NO CLUE WHAT I WAS DOING!!!

It Amazes Me
AUTHOR: Cory - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, October 26, 2004
It amazes me that these people buy these businesses and don't have a clue on how they work. If you are planning on buying a franchise, you need to work in that line of business BEFORE you buy one. I know a woman who bought a frame franchise for $100,000. She got 2 weeks on the job training in another franchisee's store prior to being dumped into her own store.
She didn't know jack about framing after 2 weeks and had to hire an expensive employee who did. She got set up in a very high rent mall with a 3 year lease. Has to pay the company 1-015% of her gross for thenext 10 years. Bound to fail. Another person bought a sandwich franchise. Found he didn't like the long hours, being around food and demanding customers.
Now, less then a year later, he's trying to sell it off to someone else. Good luck. If you're going to buy a franchise, go to work in that field as an employee for at least 3 months, 6 months would be better to see how you like it before investing your hard earned money.
