We purchased a brand new travel trailer, a 2010 Sunset Trail Ultra Lite ST27FB, from Wana RV Center in Shipshewana, Indiana. We traveled from Belfair, WA, to Indiana, to pick up our purchase. We were offered an extended warranty for $1,799.00, which we purchased.
The extended warranty was for 7 years, with the effective date of Feb 15, 2010. The written agreement/contract stated that we would be refuned the full purchase price if the contract runs the full 84 months and was never used.
We moved from Washington to Florida in July 2010. We have used the travel trailer only three times, and one of the power jacks is not working, and the floor in the front section of the trailer, in the bedroom area, is quite soft when we walk on it.
We need to have these items repaired, but have discovered that the phone number at Signet in Vacaville, CA, has been disconnected, and their toll-free number is now a sex-type phone number. I have discovered that Signet filed for bankruptcy in April 2011, just 14 months after our purchase.
Considering when Signet filed for bankruptcy, it appears they knew they were going to file bankruptcy when we were sold that contract. I believe they committed fraud by selling extended warranties they knew they could not fulfill.
If there is a class action lawsuit, or a way that I can get my travel trailer repaired, please let me know.

I forgot to include in my ripoff report that, although the Service Contract is with Signet Financial Corp., the Warranty Company is RV Elite. The RV Elite website is now just a "blank" page, and we are unable to reach them for the repairs and, of course, unable to get a refund from Signet.
