i was contacted via telemarketer telling me that they can reduce my credit card rates. After a conversation with this person, I was transferred to someone at Siler Financial. Before I knew it, they had dialed my credit card co. and had me on the phone authorizing a charge of $1495.00. I called my card co. after this and they said it was too late since I authorized the charge.
I called Siler the next day to request a refund. I got the run around. When I finally connected, my call was given to Wendy Foster. I told her I wanted a refund. She yelled at me and was very rude. I told her I had new health problems that just surfaced. She could care less and yelled at me. I am seriously ill and have been seeing doctors ever since. All I can think about is my life right now and saving it. I can't deal with this but plan to pursue it because it is just wrong. Wendy was cruel! These people aren't out for your best interest. They want your money and they don't care about you.
They promised software and a computer to track finances. Wendy said it was in the mail. This was over a month ago. I never received a darn thing! She lied. She said if I pursued this matter, I would be embarrassed. Of what, I don't know. I pay my bills on time.
I sent Justin Kenney an email explaining my situation. He never replied either. I also attached the information stating the BBC has banned upfront collection by telemarketers with promise to reduce credit card rates etc. They day after this law went into effect, Siler cancelled their BBC membership. This was on October 28, 2010. This isn't even legal.
I now find myself in even more debt and Siler has taken my money. I was really stupid to fall for this. I am now trying to pay off $1495.00 more on my card. These people are a nightmare!

I worked for Siler during the time that this complaint was made. When the client said that she wanted a refund I went to my manager, or should I say that was his title, I told him that this client wanted a refund. He refused to do so. Then after the report came out they gave the client a refund. Not once did they try to clear my name, their only concern was to protect themselves. I am tired of this negative report being on here, I am a GREAT negotiator and have always been. I was following the rules of the "so called" manager, I was not allowed to refund a client. This company has done nothing to get my name off of here, they only care about themselves, which is why I quit there. I am now in a position that I can refund or not even charge people if there is nothing that can be done to help them, I am not at the mercy of a person like the "so called manager" at Siler. One of my clients bought this to my attention today, I am appalled that this company only tried to make themselves look better and had no regard for me or my reputation. My client is very happy with the services I provided, but rightfully so, after seeing this report they had questions.

I recieved a call from Amy Hanson today regarding my complaint with Siler Financial Group. She was extremely sorry for the way I was treated by her employee. She offered me a full refund in the form of a check and also a free computer with her services at no charge.
She informed me that she did not know why I did not receive my computer and software. She
apologized. Amy Hanson seems like a person who cares about her business and wants to do the right thing. She truely is there to help. I commend her for this.
My email to Justin Kenney ended up in his spam mail and was not read. I guess mistakes do happen. I am so happy that Siler is stepping up to plate with a full refund.
Thanks Siler! Way to go!
