I hired Lance Piper and Sliver City Tree Service based on their BBB rating of A+ They were suppose to cut 5 trees and remove all of the branches trunks etc. They were suppose to cut the stumps as low as possible. I live out of town and sent my son to look at the job since Lance said it was complete and he wanted payment. My son sent me pictures of all of the tree stumps not cut down to the ground and all of the trees cut up and left all over my yard nothing, was taken away. I immediately called Lance and asked why this was all left, he told me he left me some fire wood. I informed him I did not want all of that wood and he needed to take it away as was written in his bid. I reminded him that his bid clearly says removal of all tree debri. He told me there would be an additional charge of $300.00 to remove the trees although it should have been done for the original bid. Despite this I agreed to pay the additional charge to get my yard cleaned up It has been several months and despite several promises from Lance to come back and finish the job we arrived with our family last week to the mess still in the yard and no he does not respond to text messages. We are now forced to hire someone else to finish the job. He has been paid in full and now refuse to keep his word. I do not know how his company has such good ratings when he does not finish the job.
