I was a previous employee of Silvercreek Construction. I came to him highly recommended by his brother whom I also had previously worked so felt an obligation to him to give 110%. which I did even after the first chec was shorted a full day of pay on a Saturday doing vynal siding work for him. the next pay period came and I was told I needed to finish this property in order to be paid. so I continued to work for him feeling in all honesty I would be paid correctly once the job was finished. sadly I was not ever paid and have had to take other measures the State of Michigan Lansing .I have recieved very much cooperation here with Mr. Kontz whom has been very helpful and which is greatly appreciated.

This is not true as far as I know. There were several people working with me that had just got out of jail. Jim Fletcher and Scott Lane pray on employees that are desperate for work and have had trouble with the law, these people are less likely to not raise to much of a fuss as it can damage their parole and are easier to dump when done with them.

I worked for Jim a couple summers framing houses while attending college. This was back around 2000. The most recent period of employment with him under I believe Michigan Framing Company he pulled the same stuff, so it seems not much has changed. He pleaded to us as a crew to hold out a couple weeks and finish the job and he would catch it all up.
I think by the time I got to where I was done he owed me upwards of $800. I had to catch him at his house to get anything, and that was about $250. Never saw the rest and I know some of the other guys I worked with were out some pay as well. Just beware what you are risking if you work for this guy.

Johnny was a subcontractor with SilverCreek. He was arrested for drugs charges and possession of a handgun. SilverCreek Construction can not tolerate people of this nature. They could put our customers and other employee in danger. SilverCreek Construction is a reputable company and only employs the best and ensures our customers are satisfied. I hope people who read these things on-line, realize that there are always to sides to a story.
