On 1/14/11 Silverman & Borenstein, garnished $251.20 of Social Services Public Financial Assistance Funds and LEAP Funds from my bank accounts with 1st Bank.&nbspPublic financial assistance pensions (OAP) and Leap funds are restricted from garnishment.

Exempt: Pubic Assistance Benefits (OAP, LEAP Section 26-2-131CRS)

The funds garnished are exclusively from Public Assistance Benefits and is the only income/deposits I have. No other deposits were made to this account

Please release and return the funds you took from my account immediately. Do not initiate garnishment of my SS/Financial Assistance Funds in the with Bank in the future.

The only income I have is from the funds you are attempting to garnish.&nbspThis money provides for my food and heating amongst other things.&nbspPresently I have $7.77 remaining in this account for heating and for food for the rest of January.
