Simple Choice Benefits, Simple Choice Financial Benefits Ripoff fraudulently stole my money Champlain New York

i applied for a credit card over the internet, stupid, i know. I've never had a credit card, so when Simple Choice Benefits, called me and said I had been approved for a $2000 credit line, I could get up to $1000 cash advance on it. The lady on the phone said all I needed to do is pay a $249.00 one time processing fee. She made it sound legitimate, so i said sure. She said she just neede a few bits of information, I said sure. I gave her my checking accout number, and my ss#. They debited my account for $249.00. I waited for about a month, nothing came, so I called them and basically got the runaround.

I told my husband what I had done, and he said he had never heard of a credit card company asking money for a card. That is when i went online and found this site. I got the info I needed and used it. I went to the bank and closed my account, not before another credit card company took $100, but it's closed. I contacted the New York Attorney General, the FCC, and the FTC. First thing Monday morning to file a Federal Regulation E Form, it's been less than 60 days since they took the money from my account, so i am hopeful, i will get it back. I will get my money back, come hell or high water, I'll be a real pain in the behind until something gets done. Thanks so much for this site or I never would have been able to tattle on the fraud.
