Simple Escapes 2* -MMI* - Connections* - Unauthorized Charges To My CC after purchasing a Classmates Subscription Omaha Nebraska

I purchased a Subscription to Classmates for my Mom and a few days after I went to check my Bank Statement online; as I usually do a few times a month. I noticed a $9.95 charge from Simple Escapes, I had gone awhile without using my Checkcard and when I thought about where this charge could have come from; it hit me that it had to have something to do with Classmates. That was the only place I had used my card within the time when the first charge from them appeared.

I tried calling them but I kept getting people that I could not understand, that sounded like they were from India. I then called my bank, and they are investigating the first charge, I have yet to be able to inform them about the 2nd charge.


I am not happy about this situation, all I wanted to do was purchase a membership to Classmates for my mom; not to be brought into a corrupt company who makes unauthorized charges for things people didn't even sign up for or order. I have filed a complaint with the Nebraska Consumer Protection Division and will update on how this situation progresses.
