Still another unauthorized charge from Simple Escapes. I believe this wound up my Visa bill via "Improvements" - (another ripoff catalogue as a matter of fact, which winds up sending products not as described in their catalogue so no great surprise there.) Fraudulent charge posted on July 15 - I called in early August. They claimed the credit would be applied promptly. Yea right.

October 11 - nothing. I called Bank of America and the only way I can address this is to report it as fraud , get a new account # etc because my dispute is beyond 60 days. When I told them I was not willing to do that they would offer no h elp whatsoever.

So not only will I never do business with Improvements again, I'm cancelling my Bank of America Visa card AFTER I deduct the charge and a $20 aggravation fee. I am then going to the Consumer Fraud division of the State of Pennsylvania. Lawsuit baby.

Update - I called again 10/11. When rep (Jed) knew I was irate - kept me on hold for 10 minutes then hung up. I called again. This time spoke to a "Revi" who actually had the audacity to try and convince me to keep this "membership". When he realized I wasn't biting and getting more and more upset - he offered me only "partial credit" because I already "used" some of the membership. Claims there was no record of my August call to cancel. By this point I was so furious he said "Ok, for you, we will give you full credit". I realize I was speaking to an idiot so didn't want to waste my breath - but I am recording everything and communicating same to Bank of America.
