SimpleLots.com Simple Lots Stole funds for service never rendered Company portrays a USA location, but its not Internet

 We came upon this website which portrays itself as a American based liquidation channel. We attempted to sell a high end lot of our excess inventory. We eventually had a buyer purchase and began prepping the pallet for shipment. About 5 hours after the order was prepped I got a message from the buyer in my PayPal email. The buyer stated various concerning things including "We will dispute this payment to you if the lot does not arrive within a week, I won't wait forever!" And some questionable other statements. Looking into the websites rule's I found there is no seller protection. Nothing. So we cancelled the shipment and contacted the website SimpleLots.com to tell them why we were backing out of the sale. We also forwarded the email from the buyer to the website. We were met with the most unprofessional, down right nasty response from simple lots. The SimpleLots owner, who lives in the Netherlands, stated the buyer was a "good person, they never had issues with," and accused my company of not following the rules. Again we expressed, due to the complete lack of seller protection our high level of concern. Again we were met with hostile rude response. After we returned the buyer I noticed SimpleLots had still charged us for the transaction, which was cancelled. I disputed it with PayPal however we ended up having to pay SimpleLots the full amount even though the transaction was cancelled! This is because SimpleLots has a policy which states they can collect fees as they please on any transaction, even ones that never happen. The right thing to do would be to refund the transaction fee since it could not be completed. In our PayPal dispute SimpleLots called us "scammers" and "stupid idiot's". The level of rude behaviour, lies about the companies location, and predatory policies which solely protect the company's money is outrageous. We warn you to steer clear of these people, they are incapable of responding without swearing and their behavior is shocking.
