Steven R Leflar, owner of DJ SRL, and Simply The Best Entertainment is stealing from many musicians. This person is a thief and a liar in our opinion.
All musicians are urged to avoid taking any events from SimplyTheBest Entertainment or DJ SRL.

Summary of my 2009 unresolved payment due from Steve Leflar & Eric Symons.
On January 9, 2009 I received a phone call from Eric Symons of North Bay Entertainment (NBE hereafter) to hire my band, Hot House for an event at Korbel Champagne, Guerenville, Ca. on July 11, 2009. On January 10 I received an email and contract from Crystal McLaughlin of NBE confirming all details. I mailed a signed copy of this contract to NBE, 4093 Concord Blvd., Concord, Ca. 94519-1514. We were to be paid $2000 for our performance. The contract was signed by Steve Leflar, owner of NBE and Star Sounds Productions, also at 4093 Concord Blvd., Concord, Ca.
On July 11 Hot House performed at the wine club Speakeasy/Grapevine Swing event at Korbel. All went well with no problems of any kind.
On July 13 in accordance with the contract I emailed a summary of the completed event to artists@northbayentertainment.com.
After a few weeks I began to inquire about payment. Mr. Symons would always promise I would be paid, as late as October. Ms. McLaughlin claimed she no longer worked for NBE. Mr. Leflar claimed not to own NBE and tried to blame the debt on NBEs previous owner Thomas Schoenberger. I contacted Mr. Schoenberger and he assured me NBEs ownership was held by Mr. Leflar. I also contacted Julie Williams, Korbels Hopsitality Director. She mailed me photocopies of her contract with Mr. Leflars signature - and both of Korbels deposit and balance checks for the event, all of which had been mailed to NBE/Steve Leflar, 4093 Concord Blvd., Concord, Ca.
As of this writing I remain unpaid by Steve Leflar or Eric Symons.

Steve Leflar has posted under my name on the internet. He has attacked my 12 year old son and now has launched three fraudulent websites on my son's father
Last night, I went to the police with my son and his father and we were told to contact the DA
Steve Leflar and Eric Symons are reprehensible perverted stalkers
I never trusted Eric , whom I have known since 2004
He lied constantly and thinks he is clever. Steve Leflar continues to stalk my family. My criminal complaint against him and Eric includes Leflar calling my son on his cell phone, calling me a towel head, calling black people by the N word,. threatening my husband, and lying through his teeth as he casually ripped off over 30 musicians and tried blaming my husband. For all the parents out there, we have to stop internet child predators like Steven R Leflar
I am sending letters to the wineries with copies of our complaint for child stalking against Eric Symons and Steven Leflar
Please do not believe one word on Leflar's websites. he is a truly socliopathic human being. I am filing restraining orders against both me for stalking my 12 year old boy
