I found out about Simplysellular through CoolSavings.com. The site appeared to be legitimate. They offered me $34.00 for my Motorola V3c phone which was in perfect working condition and perfect physical condition. The only reason I don't use the phone is because I got a blackberry instead. They paid for shipping. I even took the time to call Verizon to reset the locks on the phone so it could be used without hassle as per Simplysellular's instructions.
Yesterday I rec'd an email telling me that they are not going to pay me anything for my phone because it has "water damage" and that they are going to donate it. I was absolutely livid. I wrote a response immediately requesting my check, or my phone back. I have not received a response as of yet.
This company is ripping people off. Do NOT send them your phone. Donate it to a worthy cause or sell it on ebay.

"Water damage" is the oldest trick in the book....VerizonWireless loves to use this excuse....
