On april 6th i turned in paperwork to this company for employment and to have a background check so that i could work for safelink wireless. They are a free cellphone company for the poor and low income people. On 4/8 I WAS ON A CONFERENCE call to introduce myself and learn a little more about the company and be welcome into the company. And at that time we were suppose to be able to ask any questions that we may have, in which I did not get. So the person who invired me to apply and do the paperwork NICOLE WHITTINGTON. My info for the background check was sent and returned in about 3 days. Whenever I sent emails to see if anything had come back, I was told no it hadn't. So I wait a few more days, and last friday, I CALLED TO CHECK AGAIN AND WAS TOLD AGAIN, NOTHING. So I check back again monday, 11th and found that they had received my background check info back around the 8th, last friday, because I myself had received a copy to my home. So after looking it over there was nothing there that should have kept me from being hired and nicole herself agreed as well. So here I'am still no word as to whether I officially have received the job. I last emailed nicole today and said if I do not received a confirmation soon today that I was moving on. And she said for me to hold on that she should have an answer soon, which she said the same thing on thursday as well. I'am starting to feel as if there is some sort of discrimination going on or something, I cannot get an honest answer from her or any staff member. I don't no if it's her or some other higher authority, a lot of the time, it's the person you are communicating with who is the actual owner. But at this point, I'm not sure and this company has a lot of personal, important information on me, social security numbers, etc. And on their website they stress how honest they are and even has a scripture written at the bottom of the website. So at this point I believe that the company is a fake or do not hire certain people, races or something. I should at this time no something!!!! So I want to make everyone aware of this company. I'am so worried about all my personal information that they have in their grips. I hope you will post asap!!!

EVERYTHING I WROTE WAS TRUE...

THE REPORT WAS 20 PLUS YEARS OLD. AND IT WAS SOMETHING THAT WAS NOTHING MORE THAN A MISDIMENOR. AND IT HAD TO DO WITH A LANE JEWELY KIT THAT COST A LITTLE OVER A 100.00 DOLLARS. THE KIT WAS PAID AND I ONLY SPENT 10 HOURS INSIDE.

THAT SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN THE CRITERA USED TO DETERMINE A PERSON'S FUTURE MOTIVES OR MORAL CONDUCT. I'AM AN ORDAINED MINISTER AND FORMER PASTOR. THEY NEED TO CHANGE THEIR POLICIES AND USE ACCORDINGLY. EVEN AFTER I HAD SPOKEN TO THE WOMAN THAT PRESENTED THE POSITION TO ME AND RECEIVED THE REPORT, SHE SAID THAT IT SHOULD NOT KEEP ME FROM BEING HIRED. BUT I FEEL THEY JUST DIDN'T WANT TO HIRE ME. BUT I'M NOT WORRIED OR CONCERNED. EVERYTHING IS GOING GREAT!!! THEIR LOSS, NOT MINE!!!

Unfortunately for this individual she could not be hired by our organization. There are strict hiring criteria that we as a company can not control. It is mandatory for us to use only one specific background check company and are completely at their mercy. We do not control the criteria on how far back the report investigates nor can we control how long it takes to get results.

We were denied the opportunity to move forward in the relationship. The Applicant's personal information was securely protected and in accordance of Federal Regulatations. There was never a doubt on whether we would have provided her the opportunity. I wish her the best of luck and sorry she felt the need to place a complaint against Simple Truth Marketing. Our goals and values are stated on our website and truly stand by them. It is unfortunate this person did not have the chance to work with us.
