From an informercial on July 23, 2005 I ordered their vacuum. The promotion was buy 1, get 1 free. On July 27, 2005 they debited my account for $453.70. I did not receive the vacuums until mid-October, 2005 and there were a total of 4 sets sent!

I returned all vacuums on November 9, 2005 via Federal Express. The vacuums were received on November 17, 2005 and signed for by "Odegard", who I was later informed is a manager/supervisor.

I had not received a refund by December 1st, so throughout the month of December I tried calling their 800 number and was always put on hold for excessive amounts of time or disconnected. Finally, on January 19, 2006, I talked to a "live" person. She said that apparently my paperwork had not been sent to accounting from the receiving dock. She then said that it would be taken care of and I could expect a refund within 10 days.

I began calling again early February because I still had not received a refund. On February 9, 2006 when I finally was able to reach a "live" person I was told that it take 50-60 days to get a refund issued (this person was also VERY rude.

No refund arrived within 60 days so I called again on March 15, 2006 and was told that my matter was too old to be handled from this particular office and I needed to call the New York City office. I have never been able to get a live person to answer this telephone number. They also say on their recording for a faster response to email them, which I have done several times, again with no response.

I filed a complaint with the LA Better Business Bureau in early May, 2006. The company responded that I would have a refund "Shortly". Pursuant to the BBB's request to let them know if the matter had been successfully completed within 7 days, I let them know that I had not received a refund and the BBB suggested looking into legal action and because the company failed to respond to the second request, they have closed my complaint, but will make it a part of the information that is disclosed about this company.
