I got Sirius with my new car purchase, renewed it one time for 3 months and let it go. Today - months after I let it go and it shut off - I got a collection notice from Collection Company of America saying I owe $47.85.
I called them and they said in the terms and conditions info that came with my car packet - I was to call Siruis if i wanted to cancel, even though I haven't gotten satellite for any period of time other than the time I paid for it.
This is a ridiculous policy that is an obvious attempt to FORCE people to resubscribe.
In addition because of this outrage, my spouse cancelled the radio on their car also - and were told it would be 8 weeks to process a refund becuase we paid by check.
What a joke this company is.
