A webinar was offered explaining their ability to offer a variety of ways to "partner" with Stacy Kellams, finding real estate deals in high-real estate areas. They stress they have a high level of success and within a few weeks, you can earn $30,000. ($10,000 when they make a deal and $20,000 after they do the repairs/flip the high value properties.)
The cost of the program was $1495. plus approx. $30,000 in bonus trainings. The training center doesn't offer what they say is available. The written 'Agreement" states that within a 30-day period you have an unconditional refund. They keep repeating "you have nothing to lose and everything to gain."
This program is not what they "sold" and they will not refund the money, even though I requested the refund within 48 hours of finding out the program was not what they said.
They now say that the only way to get the money back is to do a "deal" they accept and that is how you can get a refund.
A total scam!!!!

Does Nothing to do with Kellam Program also Include Receiving Referral Fees or Commissions

Regarding your having nothing to do with, or not knowing anything about, Stacey Kellam's program upon which the original author filed a Ripoffreport.com complaint:
Did you, or did you not, receive any referral fee or any commission from Stacey Kellam for/from the referral link you provided about Stacey Kellam's program?
In other words, did you receive any paid compensation for referring people to Stacey's program via your link?
The original author stated that the link included your name.

Gibbs/Kellam Referral Link You Referenced Indicates....

Thank you for clarifying that the program reported in RipoffReportcom was indeed through a referral link from Jamel Gibbs to one of Stacey Kellam's program.
In today's world, people rarely do things for free out of the goodness of their hearts. When we click on links referring us to a program by a person other than the author of the program, more likely than not, the person sending us the referral link is compensated by the author of the program through referral fees or commissions off the resulting purchases.
In other words, people are sent referral links either by the author of the program, or by someone seeking to make an income off referral fees/commissions from the program sales.
Your confirmation that this was a link from Jamel Gibbs referring the Kellam program is reason enough for me to shy away.
Mr. Gibbs' sending out links to Mr Kellam's programs is a sort of endorsement at best. Mr. Gibbs may or may not have been compensated. In either case, I would not want to purchase from someone who "linked" his name with that of an internet salesman who has garnered even one unresolved consumer complaint.
I was in customer service for may years. I was taught early on that for every one person who comes forward with a complaint there are at least twenty other people who did not come forward.
Are you the person who filed the original complaint? I wonder. The reason I ask is that Mr. Gibbs' support advised that they had filed a rebuttal to the author's original complaint. The rebuttal before this (not including my posted inquiry) is the only response. If you are not the author of the original complaint, then the response is specious at best. I would not want to make any purchase from a marketer submitting a speciously disguised as though it was a response to the original complaint.
I hope Ripoffreport.com will confirm that you are really the original author of the complaint and not one of the two internet marketers mentioned in the original complaint. If you are, then that restores some minute portion of my lost confidence in the for profit internet sales industry.

I am sorry that you misunderstood my report and the reference to Mr. Gibbs. Please rest assured that Mr. Gibbs offers fine programs. I have them myself and find them very helpful and his explanations offered during his webinars are above reproach.
My reference was that, because I trusted his programs, through a link that was provided under his name, that I "trusted" the link. It is the other program that was a problem. . . it was that program that was responsible for the initializing the report.
Again, Mr. Gibbs programs are above reproach.

Please Advise Kellam-Gibbs Association

I read your complaint against Kellam-Gibbs
just as I was taking a look at one of Jamel
Gibbs' REI EDUCATION ACADEMY LLC, Houseflippin 101
courses.
Gibbs' support denies they have anything to do
with this specific program that you referenced
in your complaint.
Would you explain the association that Stacey
Kellam and Jamel Gibbs had in your purchase?
While I wonder if one of them lent their name
to the other's webinar and received compensation for a referral, this
is only conjecture on my part.
I would appreciate any clarification you night offer.
Sincerely.

Hello, Sorry for your trouble that you've experienced. We were just made aware of this post and I've decided to personally respond to it. Unfortunately, neither I nor my company have anything to do with the program you've mentioned. If it was one of our programs we would have gladly given you a full refund. We have refunded 100% of all customers that asked us for a refund. All of our students who've ever purchased anything from us are satisfied and we want to keep it that way. Unfortunately, this is the first time my name is tagged to anything on the internet in a negative light. You can Google my name and see for yourself. Again, we have NOTHING to do with the product and would appreciate it if my name would be removed from this case. Thanks
