I have purchased from skaudiobooks (Brian Baird) in the past with no problems. This time I have a problem.
February 20, 2012 I sent in an order for $100 using Paypal as usual. I waited a few weeks and then sent an e-mail asking for status. Not long after everyone with orders received an e-mail from his wife stating he was in the hospital. Ok so be patient and we will get our books.
Brian also has a Facebook page (sk audiobooks) and I watch it to get updates.
He gets out of the hospital and says he is working madly to get orders filled. He is not responding to anyone request for status updates. He is not responding to e-mails or messages.
May 21,2012 I post on his page I want my money back. He sends me a private message that he has my books and will ship immediately. He prints a shipping label through paypal.
His website is gone (he says for copyright infringement). Can only communicate through Facebook and e-mail. he doesn't answer either one.
Paypal won't help (i was stupid and didn't use credit card) he held us all out past the 45 days to do a charge back for refund. (He knows this)
He did send me a tracking number for a shipping label. But anyone can print a shipping label and not ship the product. The post office says they never received the package.
He is a thief and con artist. He will steal your money and laugh at you all the way to the bank.

Hi have intermittently ordered from SK audiobooks for many years now. While the turn around on shipments is not always lightning fast, I have (99% of the time) received my order. When issues have arisen, ie a pre-order book dose not become available as predicated, Brian has always been very accommodating and has made sure that I came out ahead in the end. I asked him about this negative posting and he stated that the gentleman did end up receiving his order and said he would remove the post but he never did. I can't speak to this persons negative experience but I would recommend SK auidobooks to anyone.
