So let me begin by saying I walked in to the tattoo shop initially and spoke to an artist by the name of Rick Nevarez https://www.instagram.com/ricknevarez/. I explained I wanted a tattoo that would be a fairly large piece and he was happy with agreeing to do the tattoo and taking my deposit. He then gave me a start date a week from the initial visit. So fast forward 1 month of constant excuses and rescheduling I go in for my first session and the artist arrives late and doesn't even bother mentioning it. After the first session I was left with a partially completed skull that looked nothing like what the artist said he was drawing. I ask the artist upon leaving the shop when I would be scheduled next and he says Sunday, so we agree to meet that day at 2pm and he said he couldn't make it. I went to ask what day he could make it and he suggests I go and find a new artist. This is one of the worst experiences I have ever received from a professional establishment especially one with such lasting impacts. Additionally, artist failed to provide written and oral instructions on how to care for the tattoo. The tattoo received was not what was requested and was nowhere near what was promised.
