I'm so glad to see someone else has finally reported this scam operation! I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau but they have been no help whatsoever. I am hoping that reporting them here might have some impact.

Skinee Dip Pools (AKA Todd Gregorcic and Aaron Pagley) run a scam operation here in Pinellas County FL. They have been ripping off the elderly for years by quoting us (and many of our neighbors) on pool renovation where they actually damage our property and then charge us additional dollars to finish the job. Once the job is started, they stop and leave things in such a disarray that no other legitimate contracting company would even think of considering finishing the job. Then, they charge us thousands and thousands of dollars more to fix what they broke. Essentially, holding us hostage and forcing us to use their incompetent subcontractors. The only thing this company is good at it FRAUD, DESTRUCTION, and EXTORTION.

If you have a problem with your pool DO NOT USE THEM. Use one of the other local, legitimate pool restoration and repair companies in the area.

If you are a Pinellas County official or a member of the local or national press, PLEASE HELP US and investigate this scam that has likely ripped hundreds of elderly retired people out of millions over the last several years.

I am in contact with Victoria Lin from the Tampa Bay Channel 8 NBC news team that I am hoping will take my story. There are several other area couples that have been taken by these crooks that are reaching out to media and legal resources as well.

Response to false accusation

AUTHOR: Todd - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, August 28, 2006

The accusations made by this anonymous person are false. These types of practices which are mentioned are highly illegal and would not be permitted to continue if true. Skinee Dip Pools is a 35 year old Florida Corporation and a Florida State licensed and insured Commercial Pool Contractor. This means we are highly regulated and any claims are thoroughly investigated by the Construction Industry Licensing Board for validity. It is hard to defend such accusations because the person does not identify who they are or an address so it can be referenced. Obviously these accusations were fabricated by a competitor or some other person wishing us ill will.
