Sky Van Lines Tried to DOUBLE a firm commitment price Tazana California

After spending several days contracting Sky Van Lines for a move from California to Texas, a firm price was agreed upon in the amount of $2000.02. The pick up date was set for June 30th at 2:00 P.M..

The movers showed up over 6 hours late and inquired as to the items to be loaded. He immediately informed me that he could not honor the firm price and needed to call his supervisor. After a several minute wait for his secretive conversation, he informed me that the price would be $4000 and I could take it or leave it. He would not honor his company's commitment and became beligerent and arrogant to the point that I considered calling law wnforcement.

If you need a reputable and dependable mover, Do not call Sky Van Lines. They will give you a price and then send someone at the last minute to increase the agreed upin price and then act like it's your fault that they intentionally screwed up.

This has got to be the WORST experience of my 69 years. Avoid this company. Don't make the mistake I did. Get a reputable mover with integrity. It sure ain't this one.
