Thank you Emily. I was wrong about you, I actually assumed it was you writing all of this, which was also wrong, you know what they say about assumptions. It would appear I did the exact same thing your friend did, got very upset by something I heard although it was really none of my business. Thanks again for being the "better person".

In response to this report I would like to say that I am the actual employee who was laid off and I would just like to set the record straight.  While my friend who filed this report might have had good intentions or thought she was 'helping' me by filing this has grossly exaggerated what actually took place.

I was indeed laid off and yes someone else was hired, it was not to take my place but  rather to be an opening/closing manager. I actually have never before been laid  off or even terminated from any company for any reason and I was very upset about being laid off at the time. I did end up calling a close friend whom I thought would just let me b***h and vent about being upset... instead complete drama has been created by this and several other web postings.

This was never my intention. The Skybox Lounge is a reputable establishment or I never would have associated myself with them. While yes I was extremely upset and even mad, I never once thought by venting off some steam to someone I have trusted before would lead to all of this.

I know that there has been damage done that I can not undo, but I am at least hoping to be able to give the Skybox Lounge back some of its reputation. I am very sorry  that I let my emotions get the better of me and I placed my trust with the wrong person. This has caused undue harm and damage to the employees who were mentioned and to the owner of this company.

I encourage anyone who reads this to actually go into the Skybox because it is an  amazingly relaxed fun bar with extremely hard working people who deliver their best service 150% of the time. Go on in and enjoy some great people,drinks and excellent food (I doubt you will find better fried chicken in the state of Colorado!).

Once again, I am extremely sorry and very embarrassed that this ever happened and I sincerely encourage all parties to just let it go.

So you all want to say she is the bad employee okay fine, but do you even know what you are talking about? and actually not being able to make rent because she was laid off you f*king dumba*s is the employers fault. why hire someone if you will only lay them off within two months? talk about dragging people through the dirt... you just talked s**t against her and you dont even know whats going on in that bar either or you would have kept you mouth shut because who the f*k do you think told her all this stuff you idiot? call her a gossip? she kept her mouth shut when everyone of those employees told her inappropriate sh*t and guess what? the only reason she told me is because i am her best friend and she needed to vent after finding out directly from someone who works there what really went down so why dont you check your facts.

okay so yeah, i wrote two of them, i have never used this before and I thought it didnt post my first one. Second, the ONLY reason she told me all of this was because I dragged it out of her after she called me hysterical and I let her vent it out on me when she found out some other facts about what really went down. Third, she isnt blaming anyone, which is why she already has another better job which just showed her it was a better opportunity. I was merely stating how very unprofessional this  sh*t bar was and its employees and just to let you know, she was a very hard worker, hence the three "higher-ups" at the bar telling her she would get excellent references. Obviously you must know people at the skybox or you wouldn't be so protective.... anyways the point is, they screwed her over in an extremely unprofessional manner as well as LYING about it and guess what... she knows they have every right as an employer to terminate employment at any time but this is called rip off report... and whats the slogan? oh yeah... get revenge and because yeah, Emily prefers not to make waves so she could just move on with her life, I am not such a nice person and quite frankly, I am sick of sleezy people taking advantage of ALL hard worker people and the Skybox did just that and they hire these people because they have such a high turnover rate and because they hire their friends because obviously they havent heard of the saying of not shitting where you eat or they would maybe actually make some money. And lastly, you dont know emily so how dare you accuse her of making herself a victim... this situation wasnt her fault at all actually and now yes, she is doing better but really it boils down to the skybox already KNOWING she would be screwed if she lost her job and they did it anyways just to work with their buddies.

and just to let you know, I didnt drag anyway through the dirt, they did that themselves by being a disgusting excuse for a human being.

Your friend, the single mother (since this seems to be the only description you have of her) needs to learn to stick up for herself. With all the names and information you have it seems she is quite the gossip (I would not want her to work for me with all that drama) and I will tell you that you have the majority of your facts wrong, do you even know any of the people whose names you are dragging through the dirt? If your story is true... you are telling me that they fired a hard working person (doesn't really matter if she is a "single mom" or not) so they could hire a bunch of clowns who don't work. This makes no sense. If she were an asset, she would be treated as one. And you are going to bring in her landlord, she had to beg him to let her stay, but that is also her ex employers fault. Is anything her fault? The "single mother approach". Nothing is her fault, it is her employer, or her landlord, or her children, or the children s fathers fault. No one said it is easy but it is what we do with these hard ships that make us who we are, apparently you and her are just looking for a scapegoat and this just so happens to be the most recent thing she has screwed up. Everyone has hard times, stop blaming others and deal with it, no out is out to intentionally f*** over single mothers, just weed out bad employees.

Your stay at home mother friend needs to fight her own battles. She apparently was not working as hard as you say because if they needed her, she would not have been fired. You only know what she has told you and really have no right to be slandering the company as well as the individuals who work there. Especially putting their names in there, you are really low enough to drag other peoples names through the dirt because of something you heard from someone else? Apparently your "friend" has a big mouth, I would not want her to work for me either. And seriously, single mom begging her landlord and this is the employers fault? No that is her fault, I am sure she is lovely, but you cannot blame everything that goes wrong in her life on someone else (employer, landlord, children, the children s father) when are you going to realize that although tragic, some people just like to blame their failures on other people.
