I went to Skye Salon because I needed a new look. I showed Essie a picture of how I wanted my hair to look. I was looking for ombre style. She spent 4 hours working on my hair. I thought it strange that she did not want me to look at myself in the mirror for too long.
After being charged $ 150.00 What I got in return was a very bad highlight job. I can't even say it was highlights. It was a very bad style all in it's own. I went back to the salon and tried to talk to her about how bad I looked and how bad I felt. She told me it was all my fault.
How could it be my fault when she was the hair dresser??? She was very entertaining all the while talking only good about herself and speaking very negative things about all the other hair dressers in the Salon. She liked to brag about herself with over 25 years of experience and the other women with only 3 or 4 years of experience.
How conceded. When I confronted her she was very rude and tried to embarrass me. No one would let me talk to a manager or even the owner. I left the salon and called her on the phone only for her to hang up the phone on me. I have never dealt with such unprofessionalism. She literally destroyed my hair. I would defiantly not recommend using Skye Salon if that is how their hair dressers are allowed to treat their customers.

Hi Yesita. I am sorry about what happened between you and Essie. She is an independent contractor. She handles her own clients and payments. As the owner if the establishment, the only thing I can do us offer to get your hair how you would like it. You can feel free to contact me anytime at the salon if you would like to. It is very harsh of you to judge the whole salon and write crude reviews all over the internet. I understand that one stylist can make the whole salon look bad, but you shouldn't judge all if the other stylists' work off of one stylist.
