SlimEasy Shakes are a rip off. The company should be charged with fraud. I have never been treated so dishonsetly, they out and out lied when I called to try to track my so called free sample.
I placed my order for a Free sample of 15 days worth of shakes and adkin meal bars. I paid two dollars extra for the shipping and handling so that i would receive my order in a few days. That was on 12/22/08. I sent emails and called numerous times to try to find out where my samples were. I was told by Jeff Hayes and Joey Santorielli via emails that my samples were on route.Lairs! WHen i finally made contact via telephone, every time you call your left on hold for extreme long periods of time, I believe someone identified himself as David said they were having problems getting the product out it was a shipping issue. He said they were changing the company they had been using and that my free sample had actually just been shipped the day before. Lair!
They charged my credit card twice, once on 12/23 for $5.99 and a second time for $88.97 on 1/14/2009. When my last statement arrived so did a very small envelope with two very small about half cup size containers with so call product.Fraud! The add offers many different flavor low carb shakes. Peanut butter cup, cheesecake, oreo cookie, etc. the drink has none of that, the directions tell you to add the flavoring you desire.Fraud! So they tell you to add a broken up peanut butter cup to your low carb shake?? These two small containers are surpose to last you a month as meal replacements? They want to charge you $88.97 for a total of maybe 8 oz of a so called low carb shake. Fraud! You can buy top quality low carb protein mixes from health stores for less than that and get a half gallon size container.
I have tried to get them to issue a credit to my credit card company, I have told them I will send back the product because i certainly have no interest in doing business with a company that misrepresents their product. I can not believe that they in good faith would charge a customer, or expect anyone to agree to paying for this shake when they never sent out the sample in the first place. But then how could they because if they did everyone would cancel the order as soon as they received the so called free samples. I am currently workign with my credit card company to resolve this.
In closing, if SlimEasy does not resolved this to my satisfaction I may turn to legal means. Should Ripoff Reports decide to have an attorney get involved please please contact me. Jeff and Joey, shame on you.
