Slrgenius Closeoutgenius Bait and Switch Tacticts will not send what you order Las Vegas Nevada

Found what seemed to ge a good deal on a Nikon D80 DSLR kit, included the camera "auto focus lens" as the ad stated.. several accessories to come along with the proressional kit "as they named it"

Placed the order online... Next day they called to confirm.. Then day after that they called to tell that the kit "as ordered" would not work. That the lens we had ordered would not work with that body. For clarity I will tell one more time that "a kit they offered on the website was orderd and in the kit listing it specified a autofocus lens along with other accessories" THEN they followed up on the phone to tell that the kit included a lens that would not work with that body. My argument was if it does not work with that body then why did you offer it as a kit on your website????

The price with the RIGHT lense jumped from 369 to over 700.. Told them to just go ahead and ship as ordered because it was still a good price for the camera body..

Then was informed that if I wanted only the body he could send me that for only 500 something...

They refused to send it as ordered because he said the combination would not work.. So in frustration I finally said well just forget it.. Cancel the order I don't want to deal with you... THEN to my suprise.

He informed me that there was a 20% cancellation fee. We argued on the phone for over 20 minutes about the charge.. When he finally got frustrated and told me to deal with my credit card company that he was going to charge the 20% and immediatley HUNG UP ON ME !!!

They are hard to reach on the phone.. call and call and call and you will finally get through to a warm body.

I went as far as telling him I would report them to the Attorney General and to the Federal Trade Commission for false advertising and for Bait and Switch Tactics. THEY are the ones that refused to send the order and then when I wouldn't update to what they wanted to sell they charge you 20% of the original order..

AS OF YET --- The 20% charge has not shown up on the credit card.. Maybe the 20min argument showed him that this wasn't going to be a easy battle to make about $70.. and decided it wasn't worth the effort.

IN SUMMATION ... They offer great prices on their website but BUYER BEWARE... You will be pressured into a larger $ sale and they will refuse to send the original order. While charging you 20% for the order that they refuse to ship if you decide not to pay the higher dollar amount..
