Bought a Tao 4 wheeler summer 2013. Got it home and it only ran about 15 minutes. Couldn't get it to start. Took it back and they "fixed it". Took it home, ran about 1/3 hour then couldn't get it to start again.
Next time we took it it they gave us a new one. Same problems with that one! Did everything they said to do. Watched you-tube for all the "fix it" tips like they told us to do. Had continuous problems with it. It would start only a fraction of the time.
Didn't do anything with it over the hard winter. Tried again this spring, still had problems trying to get it to start and run. Took it back (told them ahead of time so they could look at it) and they conveniently didn't have anyone on hand when we showed up to look at it. They gave us a new carberator and told us to replace it. (thank goodness my husband is handy) That seemed to help for about 20 minutes! When I called back they wouldn't return my call.
Finally got in touch with them and they seemed put out that they had to talk to me at all! Told me to bring it back and for $50/hour they would look at it and see what they could do. When I asked for the number to their distributer (thinking maybe I could get help that way) they gave me their managers number.
There should be some kind of lemon law rule that could apply to this thing! Bad product + bad service = alot of wasted money!

These cheap, generic Chinese motorcycles and ATVs are not manufactured to the standards of "real" motorcycles and ATVs. I have told my neighbors to quit bringing theirs over to my garage for help repairing them. It's a never ending cycle. As soon as you fix one thing, something else falls apart. You will spend more time working on them than riding them.
If you check out some of the forums devoted to these vehicles, you will find that failure soon after delivery is not uncommon.
