Smart Auto Group picked up at the airport, was taken to a post office to seal the deal, car was filthy did not get the title at that time, car looks like it had been repainted in the rear end called him and was told that was it St.petersburg Florida

I had bought the car on e-bay, the pictures of the car were great, sent him 500.00 dollars and we flew into Tampa,FL. a couple of days later, we were picked up there after we sat for about 1hr. George and one of his assistants took me and my wife to the parking ramp in the airport,

we then followed George to a Post Office and signed the papers there, the car was very dirty to say the least, we asked why and was told that it had rained, did not have time to clean it up, I think I know why, after signing the papers, I had a certifed check from my bank for the balance of the car, he said he could not release the title until the check was cleared, he would send it to me in a couple of days, which he did,

the rear of the car looks as though it has been repainted which I am sure it has been, I called him on this and he said that is the way it is because it was bought at a auction, the carfax he had on it did not say anything on that or did he even bring that up to me,.

I did run a carfax on it and they had nothing on it, they said they had 4 events on it, I believe he did have some knowledge on this that is why the car was in the condition it was when he bought it to me, anyway I thought I would let you know what happened to me, it was not smart of me to take the car at that time but when your 1200 miles from home and he has 500.00 dollars of mine your kinda screwed, thank you,
