Please avoid Smart SIte Solutions, SmartSIteSolutions, SMART B2B SERVICES LIMITED, BRIDGEND, CF35 5LJ, Smart SIte Solutions BRIDGEND, CF35 5LJ, and the heartache, false promises and business misery they deliver.

These gentlemen" took a very sizable deposit for my new website project at the end of June 2008. During the experience" of the build of the website I found out they used free web templates that failed w3c and the website was not professionally optimised (but I could pay more for enhanced" optimisation services, something that slipped the mind of the salesmen when he told me otherwise before I signed on the dotted line).

Some 11 months later the website is still so buggy I would be foolish to take it live. The forum should only be viable by registered members however the general public can see everything, something I have requested many times and was communicated to them at the outset. Various database error messages appear on the screen virtually daily and the control system has very limited features. In essence, the website is unfit for the purpose it was designed for and Smart SIte Solutions.co.uk have no remorse and no will to face facts and correct issues. I am a reasonable person and expect we are all human and things go wrong, however when people do not / will not correct problems they have caused and act in a way that it is unreasonable for me to expect this and try to upsell me, I feel extremely angry.

On a positive note, their sales department is extremely good (I was certainly foolded). Various websites were demonstrated to me showing off their success in search engine optimisation", where they showed me websites of their clients they had got to the top of Google. However, after speaking with another ex-customer of Smart SIte Solutions UK I learned that the websites they show at the top of Google are their own websites, and not real customers (some simple research on who owns the domain and the postal addresses etc soon reveal this). This started me thinking about what type of people would need to trick their potential customers but this was merely the tip of the iceberg as I learned about the trusted web traders" approval they have that other web design companies don't".

Currently I am aware of 36 other people that are just as unhappy about Smart SIte Solutions.co.uk and we are seeking options of a joint class action against them. If you have also had such issues please feel free to contact me via: (((REDACTED FOR SECURITY PURPOSES)))@hotmail.co.uk

It also appears that Smart SIte Solutions maybe in financial trouble as my solicitors have looked at Smart SIte Solutions.co.uk and found their company to have a poor credit rating. This can be found by a simple free company credit search using www.checkrate.co.uk and search 'Smart SIte Solutions UK'. You'll see they will not verify they are credit worthy.

In closing, it is without surprise that my deposit is not being refunded by Smart SIte Solutions and their smooth charismatic charm soon melts away when they fail you and your project and you are unwilling to pay for additional services just to hopefully receive what was originally agreed. If you are considering using Smart SIte Solutions I would not recommend it, but if you do please be very careful.
