Smart Startup/Smart-stp Smart Startup is a fraud. Routine shipping scam Hong Kong

Smart Startup contacted me because they had seen my resume on the Internet.  Basically, looking for a Project Manager.  Phone interview conducted with online exercises to complete.  These exercises were taken verbatim from a popular online PM site.

After the exercises were completed successfully, they asked me to provide price quotes for Apple laptops--online and in-store.  They then stated that they were going to send me company funds to purchase and send the items to an unstated location.

Their webiste indicates that they have a Chicago office.  Based on the address in the license, it's a residential college dorm in downtown Chicago.  I confirmed this with a phone call.  Additionally, they stated that they have an office in the Seattle, WA, Columbia Tower.  Again, a phone call confirmed that this was not the case.

Due diligence on my part required that I ask several questions to determine whether this company was for real.  No reply from contacts Daniel Staton or Lily Clark. 

No Google results on name searches.  One webiste states that their web services originates in the Ukraine and is routed through the UK.

Do NOT do business with this scam.
