I purchased an item from Smartsubs.com, thinking I was getting a great deal.

Come to find out, this place is a JOKE.

Once you purchase an item, they sign you up for some stupid trial subscription which you have no choice but to accept to complete the order. If you do not contact the third party company to cancel this subscription, charges begin occurring monthly.

As if this isn't bad enough...

After I contact the third party company to cancel this forced subscription, I now wait for my package to arrive. I payed an extra $6 to get "2-5 day shipping". This proved to be even more of a JOKE.

A FULL WEEK after my purchase, I get an email stating that my item is "about to ship". Then, 2 days after that, I get a second email stating that there is an update status on my order, and they provide a USPS tracking number.

Here is what's unbelievable. All this tracking number says is that the billing info has been created, and the product has not even shipped yet, now 3 business days after the tracking email was sent. This is SmartSubs way of blinding you from the extra time they are taking. They mine as well have not even have sent a tracking number yet since it has no real meaning.

WHAT A RIP OFF COMPANY.

Stay away from SmartSubs.com.

They are nothing more than a scam who does what they want with your item after you have paid.

This should have been your first clue. Reputable companies do not do this. You actually did have a choice. Don't complete the order!
