I signed with SMC over 3 years ago, with first using the gift card site..never realizing that a person had to actually have a gift card ONLY to order from me, and over 7 months of having that site it did not work properly, I dumped them and came back after a year of trying something different, and upgraded and still no sales...why dont they tell us they do not market our site?? To have them do that is another 500.00, and they only list us with the same companies we already know about..google, yahoo, etc..and the meta tags and key words are soo generic-we would never get hits...why arent we informed that we should re vamp our meta tags and key words in the first place?? I pay 30.00 per mth for web hosting .....for what???
Does any one know how I can get help with marketing and getting sales with out charging me an arm and a leg....??? I am going broke, they are getting richer...the shipping they charge needs to be mentioned on the tv that in order for you to make any money....you best drive there and pick up orders..shipping eats all the profits....help!!!!!

i have been with smc for over a year, and the first thing i did was cancell there web site and build my own with yahoo small business, it is still a work in progress but it is worth the effort, just time consuming. i have also hosped home parties and give the hostess 20 percent of the sales in merchandise. i have bought samples to show at the parties and keep them and just order from smc. i have also bought the simply for you catalogs to mail out to friends and associates with a business card attached with my web site address. i am very happy with smc and everyone who has bought from me has been very pleased with there products. make up business cards and give them to everyone you know, you have to promote yourself and your business. good luck, i can be reached thru snugharborside.com

dont go any further withyour web site i did the same as you and did some marketing and got over 10000 people to go to my site and they never looked past the home page not worth it cut your losses now thats what im doing. jerry
